March 15, 2011, come celebrate Adena Mansion and Gardens National Accreditation. A community reception will take place at Adena Mansion and Gardens at 4:30 in the Education Center. A brief program led by the Ohio Historical Society and Adena Mansion and Gardens will feature remarks from the American Association of Museums (AAM) and Local officials. The AAM accreditation is a widely recognized seal of approval that brings national recognition to museums, regardless of their size or location.
Local native, Teresa Sparks, is the new Executive Director of Adena Mansion and Garden Society. Teresa has her bachelor’s degree in business administration and her master’s degree in communication from Ohio University. She has management experience with Mead, Adena Health Systems, and Horizon.
