Thank you for your support in 2022!

Adena Mansion and Gardens Society (AMGS) would like to thank you for a very successful 2022 season.  We are experiencing a great comeback from the 2020-2021 seasons. Our attendance, tours, and events are all coming back to what is close to normal.

Regardless of the situation, we are committed to our mission of preserving the mansion, gardens, and grounds of Thomas Worthington and their family; to promoting his legacy of participation in Ohio’s early history; and to enhancing present and future appreciation of Adena’s contribution to our culture. In order for us to meet our mission, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support.  Without the assistance of community-minded individuals, we would not be able to fulfill our mission each year.

Thank you for honoring, celebrating, and elevating Chillicothe’s History throughout the past couple of years.  We are all inspired by the past and know that through Chillicothe’s past that our community has a bright future.

Chillicothe is a vital place to live and work.  That vitality is wrapped in our memory, our family stories, traditions, and civic commemorations.  Chillicothe embraces local pride more than ever.  To us, we are a community and we know that its history that brings communities together.

People are drawn to communities that have preserved a strong sense of historical identity and character.  They give us a sense of place and an understanding of who we are and who we can become.

Chillicothe has a strong identity because history is woven into the fabric of our community. Adena Mansion and Gardens Society (AMGS) is pleased to be a part of this historically rich community.
